Paracetamol (Calpol) Guidelines

Dosage:
Based on weight (10-15mg/kg) every 4-6 hours
Maximum:
Do not exceed 4 doses in 24 hours
Usage:
Fever, pain relief, headaches, and teething pain
Important:
Always use the measuring device provided with the medication

MediTime shows how long it has been since the last recorded paracetamol (Calpol) dose, and counts the doses recorded in the past 24 hours.

Ibuprofen Guidelines

Dosage:
Based on weight (5-10mg/kg) every 6-8 hours
Maximum:
Do not exceed 3 doses in 24 hours
Usage:
Fever, inflammation, pain relief
Important:
Take with food to reduce stomach upset

MediTime keeps a record of your ibuprofen doses and counts down the interval you would expect between them, based on the packaging.

MediTime is a timer app designed to keep track of all your family's Paracetamol (Calpol) and Ibuprofen doses. It provides timing notifications, ensuring you know when it's safe to administer another dose of pain remedy to your loved ones.
Is MediTime Timer available for both Android and iOS devices?
Yes, MediTime products are installed as Progressive Web Apps (PWAs). While Android supports this feature natively, Apple is currently in the process of adopting it. You can still install MediTime on your Apple device by following the instructions provided on your screen after selecting the install button.
Does MediTime tell me when to give medicine?
No. MediTime keeps a record of the doses you have given and shows the time since the last one, using the intervals printed on the medicine packaging. Dosing decisions should always follow the packet, your pharmacist or your doctor.

On the main screen, you'll find the Light/Dark button at the bottom. Use it to dim the display at night, providing a more eye-friendly experience. This feature is particularly useful when checking medication times during the night.
Is MediTime Timer available in different languages?
Not as yet but we are working on it. We plan to add multiple language support in future updates.
Can I backup and restore my dosage history?
Currently, MediTime does not have backup and restore functionality. This is a feature we're actively developing for future updates to provide extra peace of mind.
Is MediTime Timer free to use, or are there any in-app purchases?
The free version of MediTime is completely free to use and includes only a non-intrusive ad banner at the bottom of the main screen. The Family version is ad-free, and no dose or health information is sent to a server — it stays on your device. Upon purchase, the Family version receives a unique serial number, which is solely used for confirmation purposes.
Does the app work offline?
Yes! Both the Free and Family versions work offline, providing seamless functionality even without an internet connection. For the Family version, only a one-time internet connection is required to validate the purchase, after which the app works completely offline.
How secure is my data and medication information in the app?
We prioritize your privacy. MediTime does not transmit any personal information online; all timing data is solely stored on your device. This means your family’s dose records stay on your own device.
